As a light worker, a normal guy with the ability to spread light where there is dark, each passing day is full of opportunities to grow spiritually, to make choices and learn lessons. It’s no different then all man kind really, we all have an opportunity to love and to live to our true purpose. We are also constantly tested, tempted and seduced to stray off our paths. However succumbing to temptation or diverting from our paths is also just another lesson, another opportunity to learn something we are supposed to learn in this life. Regardless of your own spiritual or religious beliefs, regardless of what God you choose to pray too, as long as you believe in something greater, some purpose for this life that lays outside of material, prestige, ego, careers and bills. If you do have a believe then I am confident in saying that you certainly will agree that life is a series of lessons to be learned, lessons that each one of us must experience at some point.
- Living to Learn and learning to live
Personally I believe we have all lived many lives, of course this is my believe and is not ment to offend are spark a debate on spiritual believes. I believe I have lived many lives, that I have chosen to be here at the moment in space in time in order to learn lessons that I need to understand before I can truly ascend or reach true “enlightenment.” I also believe an important lesson for me to learn this time has been the acceptance of all different opinions, faiths and religious practices. I study many different religions and continue to find amazing principles in each one. From Judaism to Islam, Christianity to Buddhism each faith seems to have some very common principles when broken down to their basic form. Unfortunately we are human, and in every faith someone has gone wrong at some point thru human interpretation. This is understandable, this is predictable. Think about some of the emails you have read or text messages when you completely misunderstood what the author was really saying! I do it all the time. So who am I to dismiss someones believe because of a misinterpretation from a handful of normal loving humans? That’s not my place and I will never take ownership to that type of behavior.
As I continue my path, as a light worker an Indigo I like to hold onto certain principles to practice every day. I sure as hell fall short all the time, I make mistakes, bad decisions. However we have the opportunity to start fresh every single day. Almost like a baseball game I suppose, some days you hit a single, maybe the next day you strike out but on the following day you hit a home run. Everyday we have a choice. Do I come from a place of love or ego? Do I take that drug or drink or do something healthy for my body? When someone comes into my mind randomly, do I brush it off or try to give them a call to see how they are doing? You see it’s the small things that change lives, it’s the 5 minutes you take to help an elderly person with their bags, or the courage to be the first person to pull off the side of the road when you see an animal wandering in a dangerous place. It’s the selfless acts, actions with no motives or expectation for reward. Those are the things I look for in people, those are the people I surround myself with. The greatest thing is that we all have the ability to do great, powerful things. We all have our gifts, each and every one of us, but its up to us to follow our moral codes, to practice living from love.
I attended a christian church service in Las Vegas last weekend, a small church that is growing in the heart of Sin City. It was miraculous. Regardless of the fact that I don’t believe or agree with some Christian teachings, regardless of my differences, I could not ignore the power that filled the room, the light that I saw in each persons eyes. Too see two people who decided to take a chance on faith, uproot their family and move to Las Vegas to attempt what many would consider impossible, to watch two turn to four, four into ten and so on. From spreading their message from their living room floor to preaching a message in a real church in only 8 months tells me one thing: Anything is possible, when you come from a place of love and passion, you can take the “im” out of impossible. Because of my ability to accept the good in all faiths and ideals, I was able to experience a beautiful thing. That moment will stay with me forever, the message spoken by the Pastor was powerful, but the true beauty was the passion that filled the room, the love and the acceptance. Passion, love, acceptance, three words that encompass what I as an Indigo hope to promote.
For anyone who may be reading this who follows the Christian Faith, I suggest taking a look at what these amazing people are doing. Not asking for donations, or commitments, I just believe they are doing a great thing for a lot of people. Just as I believe Indigomovement has the potential to do amazing things for anyone and everyone. From their faith came an idea that idea turned into a leap of faith and in less than a year Advance Church has begun to bloom.
Following your passion takes work.
From two people too….

In conclusion I just wish to reiterate the undeniable fact that every single person on this planet is capable of doing truly remarkable things. Even if you are lost right now, feeling despair or hopeless, or maybe you are kicking yourself for a bad decision, or are facing temptation that seems great but your gut is questioning it. Whatever you’re facing try to remember that there will be a lesson learned, it may not come for a while and it may hurt like hell but there will be a day when you will be grateful for the experience for it will have molded you into the person you are. If we all could just take a step back, a larger picture we might view, who knows, maybe the man in the gutter is not so different from you.
