When Time Stands Still

Within the depths of every human lives an innate ability to love.  Often this ability is in abundance for any given person at any given time.  Just as often it seems to hide from us.  As if it fears the judgment of ego, like a child who fears the dark, peering out from the blanket not sure if its safe to come out.  How then, can one recover their innate ability to love?

The answers are all around us, if we slow down enough to listen.  Human life provides countless opportunities to fill the depths of our essence. The blink of an eye can change anyone’s world.  With no warning we are often blindsided by monumental moments, moments that cause time to stand still.

There are small glimpses in time when the planet seems to stop and allow us a privilege to look at what is really important in life.  The privilege is ours if we choose to accept. We can’t deny our free will. So I ask, “How often do you accept the privilege?”

When time stands still, when these brief moments occur, that is when the ego slips under the covers and hides away.  Fear disappears in the presence of love.  Fear and ego simply cannot coexist with love at the same time.  Love turns the light back on, and like the child who fears the dark; the light replaces fear with comfort.

Embrace the silence, soak up the love.

As a light worker, a normal guy with the ability to spread light where there is dark, each passing day is full of opportunities to grow spiritually, to make choices and learn lessons. It’s no different then all man kind really, we all have an opportunity to love and to live to our true purpose. We are also constantly tested, tempted and seduced to stray off our paths. However succumbing to temptation or diverting from our paths is also just another lesson, another opportunity to learn something we are supposed to learn in this life. Regardless of your own spiritual or religious beliefs, regardless of what God you choose to pray too, as long as you believe in something greater, some purpose for this life that lays outside of material, prestige, ego, careers and bills. If you do have a believe then I am confident in saying that you certainly will agree that life is a series of lessons to be learned, lessons that each one of us must experience at some point.

Living to Learn and learning to live

Personally I believe we have all lived many lives, of course this is my believe and is not ment to offend are spark a debate on spiritual believes. I believe I have lived many lives, that I have chosen to be here at the moment in space in time in order to learn lessons that I need to understand before I can truly ascend or reach true “enlightenment.” I also believe an important lesson for me to learn this time has been the acceptance of all different opinions, faiths and religious practices. I study many different religions and continue to find amazing principles in each one. From Judaism to Islam, Christianity to Buddhism each faith seems to have some very common principles when broken down to their basic form. Unfortunately we are human, and in every faith someone has gone wrong at some point thru human interpretation. This is understandable, this is predictable. Think about some of the emails you have read or text messages when you completely misunderstood what the author was really saying! I do it all the time. So who am I to dismiss someones believe because of a misinterpretation from a handful of normal loving humans? That’s not my place and I will never take ownership to that type of behavior.

As I continue my path, as a light worker an Indigo I like to hold onto certain principles to practice every day. I sure as hell fall short all the time, I make mistakes, bad decisions. However we have the opportunity to start fresh every single day. Almost like a baseball game I suppose, some days you hit a single, maybe the next day you strike out but on the following day you hit a home run. Everyday we have a choice. Do I come from a place of love or ego? Do I take that drug or drink or do something healthy for my body? When someone comes into my mind randomly, do I brush it off or try to give them a call to see how they are doing? You see it’s the small things that change lives, it’s the 5 minutes you take to help an elderly person with their bags, or the courage to be the first person to pull off the side of the road when you see an animal wandering in a dangerous place. It’s the selfless acts, actions with no motives or expectation for reward. Those are the things I look for in people, those are the people I surround myself with.  The greatest thing is that we all have the ability to do great, powerful things. We all have our gifts, each and every one of us, but its up to us to follow our moral codes, to practice living from love.

I attended a christian church service in Las Vegas last weekend, a small church that is growing in the heart of Sin City. It was miraculous. Regardless of the fact that I don’t believe or agree with some Christian teachings, regardless of my differences, I could not ignore the power that filled the room, the light that I saw in each persons eyes. Too see two people who decided to take a chance on faith, uproot their family and move to Las Vegas to attempt what many would consider impossible, to watch two turn to four, four into ten and so on. From spreading their message from their living room floor to preaching a message in a real church in only 8 months tells me one thing: Anything is possible, when you come from a place of love and passion, you can take the “im” out of impossible. Because of my ability to accept the good in all faiths and ideals, I was able to experience a beautiful thing. That moment will stay with me forever, the message spoken by the Pastor was powerful, but the true beauty was the passion that filled the room, the love and the acceptance. Passion, love, acceptance, three words that encompass what I as an Indigo hope to promote.

For anyone who may be reading this who follows the Christian Faith, I suggest taking a look at what these amazing people are doing. Not asking for donations, or commitments, I just believe they are doing a great thing for a lot of people. Just as I believe Indigomovement has the potential to do amazing things for anyone and everyone.  From their faith came an idea that idea turned into a leap of faith and in less than a year Advance Church has begun to bloom.

Following your passion takes work.

From two people too….

In conclusion I just wish to reiterate the undeniable fact that every single person on this planet is capable of doing truly remarkable things. Even if you are lost right now, feeling despair or hopeless, or maybe you are kicking yourself for a bad decision, or are facing temptation that seems great but your gut is questioning it.  Whatever you’re facing try to remember that there will be a lesson learned, it may not come for a while and it may hurt like hell but there will be a day when you will be grateful for the experience for it will have molded you into the person you are.  If we all could just take a step back, a larger picture we might view, who knows, maybe the man in the gutter is not so different from you.

How Close TO The Line Will You Walk?

Its becoming more and more evident to this Indigo a powerful institution; the majestic double edged sword of this little thing called money,  We all want more, but at what price?  At what level will we be satisfied, how much is enough?

With more money comes more expenses; Attorneys, banks, trustee fee’s, taxes and the list goes on.  Therefore once we have what we have always thought we wanted, we end up spending more than we could have imagined just managing it!  Of course Im not gonna sit here and say we all need to live in tents and only eat locally produced food and ride a bike everyday.  No, instead I want to discuss just how far we as Indigo’s or simply humans with a moral code of love, are willing to sacrifice during our prospering years.

So I ask you this, “Can you count on one hand 5 true friends that you would trust with your life, your money, your children, your wife, your husband…. How many can you get on one hand?”  There are far more people on this earth at this space in time who are living souly for SELF.  Is that you?  When the ground drops from under your feet and the world is closing in on you will you jump to safety or help the little boy next to you?

I don’t mean to rant, I just believe we all, as a human race need to be asking ourselves these serious questions:  What really matters?  Are you willing to ruin someones life out of Vengeance?  Or do you love that person and just know they may be sicker then you?

These are the thoughts this indigo has been contemplating on my journeys lately.  Hope you enjoy what Im doing here… its nice to see people are listening.  Spread the word, lets get people thinking on a level of understanding again.  Times are tough, things may not get better for a while.  We need groups of people who share a common goal or vibe.

Thanks for the support!

Time to Reflect

It’s been a while since I have published a post.  Sometimes a little distance helps one gain perspective on any project at hand.  However, this Indigo has movement, this journey has only just begun.  In the recent weeks I have seen first hand the drastic line between those who live in Oneness and those who live for Self.   It can be a dissapointing world out there sometimes, but you can’t have the Ying without the Yang and as our world has its’ dark, it also has light.

Stand up to the darkness, never allow your morals to be compromised.  Make the ethical decisions in life and you are sure to find your own personal happiness.  Focus on what is, allow it to have its moment in time but always plan for what is ahead.  Conscious and aware of the past, but never at the expense of the moment.

Indigo Rebels??

Many sources have documented that the Indigo Kids who began being born in masses starting in 1984 are here to “shake the System,” to bring awareness and to lay the path for the Crystalline Generation so that they can help remind the human race that we must live with love and the understanding of “oneness” with all. From every corner of the world, Indigos have been shaking the system, exposing faulty truths and questioning improper and immoral authority on all different levels. This inherent need to speak the truth no matter what the cost, manifests in somethings as subtle as a rule set by a parent that made no sense, to the world-changing arguments posed at round tables in every major country. My mind can’t help but wonder: “Are we witnessing yet one more example of this change in evolution now, in Libya? ”

With the current situation in Libya, I have found myself captivated by the resilience of these Rebel Forces who have somehow done the Impossible job of overthrowing a powerful, rich government. As I watched the news blast the story in the past couple weeks, I began to notice that a majority of the faces I saw taking charge and playing a pivotal role in this freedom movement were fairly young, many looking no older than my peers. So I did a little bit of research and found out that “The median age in Libya is 24.5 years, compared with 37 years in the United States and 44 in Germany,” According to the CIA World Fact Book. Also, “Fully 33 percent of the country’s population is under age 15.” U.S. State Department.

So I ask the following; Are Libya’s Rebel Fighters being led by a couple hundred Indigo Kids? Is it possible that Consciously or unconsciously these Indigo’s in Libya have risen up to smash and expose this regime? Are we going to see the Crystal Children lead the new country? I’ll leave the answers to these questions to destiny, however I can’t help but wonder….

Pistols & Lipstick- Youthful Expression With A Bang!

What two physical objects would best describe this Passionate, Head Turning, Free Spirited Indigo Innovator?

The explosion of Social Media has sent personal expression to the cosmo’s.  For the first time in history, anyone with enough passion and desire can broadcast the vast variety of what inspires and drives them.  Starting from a single seed, we are able to grow into a forrest of interweaving branches. Twisting and turning, gaining strength everyday, our creations are reaching up to the light.  On this sunny day, Pistols & Lipstick is shining bright.

When I decide to do a post on someone’s work I tend to ask one simple question:  Why did you decide to create this and what is it that you hope to accomplish?

“Pistols & Lipstick was started out of pure passion to express everything that inspired me, surrounded me and consumed me. It was a creative outlet used for family & friends back home that enabled them to see all I was doing and more importantly what I was thinking and feeling.”- Court

“My hope was to inspire a lot of my friends who never got out of our hometown to get out there and do something with their lives.  Being a source of inspiration is the least I could do.  To my surprise,  it has now blossomed into something more then I ever expected, the growth and transformation has been incredibly rewarding.”-Court

“I work and live for fashion but bring that bang! bang! to the table.”

So how does this tie in with Indigo Movement?  Simple: The main goal of Indigo Movement is to build a community of like minded people.  As an Indigo, I feel it is my duty to bring exposure, to build this network and to show the world that we are everywhere, we are done conforming to the masses and we are ready to lead.  People like Courtney are essential in showing the world that no matter what your age, race, background or where you may live: We are ONE.
